WHOS Southern NSW Region based in Goulburn seeks a Community Services Worker to provide services to people with AOD use disorders and other co-occurring conditions, within the context of a
residential therapeutic community and a day program therapeutic community.


Essential Criteria:
1. Qualification in AOD / Mental Health / Community Services or allied field
2. Experience working with, clients that have AOD use disorders and associated issues
3. Knowledge of AOD treatment sector
4. Group work skills
5. Knowledge and understanding of harm minimisation strategies
6. Current First Aid Certificate
7. Current drivers’ licence
8. Computer literacy, including the use of electronic client information systems
9. Commitment to working as part of a team

Desirable Criteria:
1. Ability to work evening and weekend shifts
2. Understanding of the Therapeutic Community model

• Remuneration is in accordance with the SCHADSI Award
• Salary packaging available
