How can we help you?
PALM Sydney is a residential drug and alcohol treatment program for young people aged 13 to 17. Young people from all around Australia are eligible to come to PALM.
We provide a safe and healthy environment where you can get the individual support you need and develop the skills to make positive life changes. The program is for three months but we can work with you to plan a shorter period that will meet your needs.
At PALM Sydney you will have your own counsellor and support worker and also work in groups to tackle the problems alcohol and/or other drugs have caused you. You will learn ways to cope with pressure and anxiety and have a happier and more productive life. We also offer help with family relationships, issues around involvement with crime and concerns with mental health.
A very important part of the program is having fun. We have a structured recreational program that includes going to the beach, the movies, gym, laser tag, bouldering and more. All the young people are involved in making decisions about the program activities every week.

Working with partners
Our Continuing Adolescent Life Program (CALM) program provides ongoing support to young people once they have left PALM for up to five years. CALM workers provide aftercare support through face to face meetings or Facebook. CALM can assist you with getting a job, going back to school or other education, finding accommodation, reconnecting with family and connecting you with support services back where you live.
To have an assessment, please call us during business hours on 9305 6235. The assessment process is an initial ten minute phone call to determine suitability. We then make a time with you do to an assessment that takes about an hour. We can do this by phone or you are welcome to come in and have a face to face assessment and see PALM.
