If so, Yaandina Community Services invites you to apply for the position of Clinical Lead for our 24-bed Therapeutic Community.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the Therapeutic Community program, ensuring the
delivery of high-quality, trauma- informed care.
Lead a multidisciplinary team of AOD Practitioners, and support staff, providing supervision,
guidance, and support. Collaborate with program stakeholders, including residents, families,
referring agencies, and community partners, to ensure coordinated and effective care.
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualised treatment plans in collaboration with residents and the treatment team.
Facilitate therapeutic groups and individual sessions, utilising a range of modalities and
interventions.
Monitor program outcomes and evaluate effectiveness through data collection and analysis, making
adjustments as needed to improve outcomes.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, including licensing requirements and
accreditation standards. Participate in program planning, budget development, and grant writing
efforts to support program sustainability and growth.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Current licensure as a clinical psychologist, licensed professional counsellor (LPC), licensed
clinical social worker (LCSW), or similar clinical licensure.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical leadership role within a residential therapeutic
community treatment setting. Demonstrated ability to provide clinical supervision and support to a
multidisciplinary team, including staff development and performance management.
Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles, evidence-based treatment modalities, and
recovery-oriented practices.
Knowledge of Indigenous cultures and communities, with a commitment to cultural competence and
humility.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish
therapeutic relationships with residents and staff.
Proficiency in program planning, evaluation, and quality improvement processes
