Toni was born in the UK where she trained as a teacher and began working in the prison education system within Male Young Offender and Juvenile Detention Centres and Female Prisons. Later she worked with disengaged adults including those affected by problematic alcohol and other drug use, asylum seekers and within community mental health facilities. After moving from the UK to the Gold Coast in late 2006, she joined the team at Goldbridge in January 2007, initially as an AOD worker, followed by the Therapeutic Community (TC) Team Leader, then the TC Coordinator and is now the Goldbridge Operations Manager/Deputy CEO.
Toni oversees all program areas to ensure the use of evidence-based and Trauma-informed principles, whilst monitoring compliance and coordinating internal and external audits to maintain accreditation.
