WHOS, one of Australia’s premier alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment providers offering a range
of evidence-based therapeutic programs. WHOS has services based in NSW and Queensland. Further

WHOS Gunyah is looking for a fulltime AOD Community Services Worker to join our men’s program,
Gunyah, based at Lilyfield NSW. The role involves:
a) assessment, referral, and education,
b) supervising and supporting clients in a residential setting,
c) delivering a structured daily program (which includes facilitating various process and groups),
d) conducting therapeutic interventions

Applicants must respond to the selection criteria below when applying: 
1. Certificate IV or higher in AOD, Community Services, Mental Health (or similar).
2. Ability to work day, evening and weekend shifts as required.
3. Experience in facilitating groups.
4. Experience in or knowledge of residential treatment services
5. Experience working with clients that have AOD and associated conditions.
6. Knowledge and understanding of harm minimisation strategies.

Remuneration:
• Remuneration is in accordance with the SCHADSI Award.
• Salary packaging is available.
